Police speed sign

Post by Trafficjamz »

Ever see one of those signs that tells your MPH?

There was one in my neighborhood today.....It seemed like a good go pro video opportunity

WOT would result in flipping over backwards :nervous:

You would not want to see me hurt, would you?

Maybe I will setup a stationary shot of the sign, as I whiz by on the scooter.

then scoot-cam pulls out to follow you while you swing around and ride the back wheel all the way outta sight.......................

Most of those signs have a max speed that is nowhere near the max speed on my elite :P
In 2040 they say we're going away
We could never let them control

Back in my car racing days I made one read 99 mph, I doubt your scooter is anywhere near that fast.

Greetings:

Nah, a Stutz Bearcat. 'Twas America's first Sports Car, y'know.

Seriously, what happens when you approach this 2-digit party-pooper at a speed exceeding the Ton? My guess is either it reads "11" for 111 or it starts sparking and exploding the little LEDs. My TinyTach sometimes goes to 0400 when I'm at WOT. Yup, 10,400 RPM.

Back in 1968 I drove a Shelby 427SC at Riverside Raceway. Scared the crap out of myself several times on the first lap, until I figured out you did NOT stomp the go pedal to the floor. You gentlely applied pressure to the go pedal or wild and crazy things happened that you had no control over until you got off that pedal. Image
