Lookie lookie what I just bought :D I didnt know what the pieces were that I took off the Spree when I first got it, apparently its the mounting brackets for a windshield sooo as soon as I get it I can mount it right up :D I am gonna be the koolest kid on the block :P lol :geekdance:

Wind resistance will slow you down. Looks cool but, not good for the top end. :wink:

I didn't find that to be the case with my Aero 80. Just the opposite in fact.

I got it cause its gonna look kewl not worried about the wind resistance :P Once I get my Double Vision on the road a few mph difference wont matter if I am doing 50-55 :D I will definately post pics. I paid more for it than I wanted to but I figured it was rare and I can always resell it for more and if I didnt get it someone else would snatch it up

btw check out babbitsonline.com i found ch80 baskets on there for like 30 bucks that should fit on the spree or elite and metropolitan top boxes for 96 and the mounting brackets for 5

Finally got the windshield in today didnt take any before pics but it was yellowed with age and the metal was tarnsih with a little rust. I used some headlight lens restore stuff and it polished out nice and some steel wool on the chrome :D It was threatening rain so I hastily mounted it and got it a little crooked hahha the bolt I have holding my rear brake lever on sticks up so that side didnt sit flush so it made it crooked :D I will set it up for a few finally pics when I get it right

hahha you hadddd to post those pics in the windscreen thread chickens, dirt, and my ghetto van seat swingset hahah thanks guys I am proud of my windshield it was pure luck that I got it, if dude hadnt of put a buy now that I could afford some other * would have it :D It is definately crooked in those pics, I will get it straight and find some drunk chics to rub their boobs all over it like 66Six does with his floorboards :P thanks for the invite motormike you know it would take me 10-12 hours to get there a la Spree :P
