Motor mount help

I've recently acquired my second Spree. The spree was swapped with an aero 125 motor by the P.O. This thing was slapped together very poorly but I aim to fix that. The motor mount only had the bolts going through it without any type of bushings or spacers making for a ride that was Shamu-ish. What are my options on fixing this so that the motor mounts are solid?

Here are a couple photos for reference:

I should have posted a pic with the bolts next to the openings, but just so you know the bolts are about half the diameter as the openings on the motor mounts shown above.

If you have access to a welder you could take some washers that share the same diameter with the bolts and weld those onto the ends of your mount.

You might have to shave of a little on either side of the tubes before you weld them on to get back t the same over-all length but thats the simpliest fix i can think of

Haha! I was waiting for someone to say that. The P.O. welded that sweet piece together. Guess I cant complain because I've never welded in my life. At least I can tell * welds from good ones. I'm not too worried about it though.
