Re: Honda Road Fox
Roadfox is a Honda, but was not imported to the US. I like most of it, except the grips color and "Roadfox" fender stickers.Has anyone ever seen one of these yellow gyro look alikes...

That's what I thought but it says it was produced in 84 and was called the Honda road fox. Same exact thing as the gyro but made overseas I guess

Similar but not the same. Different front rim, fender, turn sigs, luggage racks, horn mount, stickers. Honda used more chrome on the Gyro S.KillinSpree wrote:That's what I thought but it says it was produced in 84 and was called the Honda road fox. Re: Honda Road Fox
Reflector mounts are removed from the rear rack and forks, on the rear frame are some 'U' shaped bars (grab bar? tie downs?). There was a forward of the pegs foot rest (this may have been optional, as was the windscreen, front rack and mudflaps) This Honda ad gives a little better view of the details.eliteguy50 wrote:Similar but not the same. I know that the foot rest by the horn was optional. Do you know if the luggage rack above the headlight on the Gyro S was standard or optional?

It was an option, haven't seen many go by on eBay. I've never bought one, probably should haveI know that the foot rest by the horn was optional. Do you know if the luggage rack above the headlight on the Gyro S was standard or optional?

Re: Honda Road Fox
Good snag I looked around for pics grabbed from an eBay auction. Could not find them. If you've got pics that would be great!I have one if you decide you want to replicate it.

This over-the-headlight rack is much akin to having a pocket on your speedos.......

Re: Honda Road Fox
The main use I've found for it is a solid mount for a camera to get some fun corner shots. Using my regular camera instead of buying an expensive GoPro for my helmet.motormike wrote:This over-the-headlight rack is much akin to having a pocket on your speedos.......

When I watch bike-mounted footage, I get swimmy-headed........
Excellent utilization of the rack for camera mount. It would be a must have for a restoration/show bike
