The '83-84 Aero only had a 12 mm carb with a screw-in bystarter (AKA NLA) and the small carb hurts performance. The later Aero's all had 14 mm carbs.
I have the later model carb on mine!! Plus the styling is undeniably superior.

Well i ofcourse love my 85 but i do think the front styling of the originals is the coolest looking so i will have to agree. i appreciate the welding offer but i cant imagine it would be worth it to mail it back and forth. No luck finding a leo vince sp3 or good performance pipe yet for affordable price if anyone has one please PM me I want it.

MARTYNKIM THAT IS ONE HOT AERO! The black on red ones look so boss, favorite look. If i ever got done working on mechanical upgrades i'd get those plastics and seat for mine.
My Aero looks just like Bears, though from the pic it looks like his Aero has been driven to drink
