What METRO parts would be cool for my AERO?

Post by maxreverb »

Some guy near me has a couple cheap met parts bikes.

i was thinking about makybe buy some of the parts or maybe a whole bike if its worth it.

i know i can take off the wheels and brakes for an upgrade to my 85 aero. so that sounds like it could be cool.
would the muffler work? any other cool parts that i may want?
the guy has a 2002 and a 2005...

The wheels, yes. The brakes, no. The exhaust, no. Make sure it is a Metropolitan, not a Metropolitan II.

The variator is also an upgrade.

The metro forks are wider, that is why the brake hub won't fit.

True, the '94-01 will get you the larger front brake drum. The Metro rim just gives you the 90/90 tubeless options.
