Has Congress not heard of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Something called the 1st Amendment. This is the kind of cap that makes the idea of another revolution seem like a good idea.

CL is up and running, you just have to wait 10 seconds. You can also access it via searchtempest.com which searches multiple cl's around you.

The government and our country are so mixed up with bureacracy these days. It started after the Civil War when an ammendment was made to the constitution that put our country in debt to a foreign power and turned THE UNITED STATES into a federal CORPORATION. As you know corporations/businesses are open to free trade, though they claim to follow the constitution they are not bound by it which is why on a daily basis AMMENDMENTS are made to the constitution that grant the government addition powers not granted in the original at the cost of WE THE PEOPLES' inalienable rights. Anyone ever wonder why the seat of power so to speak of this country is in the District of Columbia which is not even a part of the united states?

They can claim whatever the * they want. The Constitution is what limits what government can legally do. But as you so well stated "though they claim to follow the constitution they are not bound by it." And that is the problem right there. They did not then nor do they now have the legal authority to ignore the Constitution and that same Constitution gives the citizen of this country the right to toss this government whenever we want and the US Military is suppose to stand aside and allow us to do so.

Oh and amendments are not passed by Congress on a daily basis or any other basis, amendments are started by Congress but must be ratified by the majority of the states before they become actual amendments. Education system fail.

"Obozo", as bear refers to him, has been using the constitution as a door mat for his office since he stepped in. BUT, this isn't new (both censorship and constitutional ignorance). You can't forget the PATRIOT act. That bill allowed for detainment of suspected terrorists for a nearly unlimited amount of time, without sufficient definition to what a suspected terrorist is.

The problem is that most Americans would rather be safe than free. Because of this, the federal government takes a larger share of the states powers. The bill of rights was written for a reason.
