tips on painting

i am looking to repaint my 89 honda elite e and was woindering if anybody could give me some pointers on it and tell me what kind of paint will be the best
2012 yamaha zuma 50f (daily driver)
1994 honda elite s (project)

I use Krylon fusion paint for plastics at w. mart .

ok thank u. i will most defenetly try it


is there any good way to fix some cracks in the plastic. i was thinking of model car glue but im not sure if that will work. it is used for plastics but if i cant get any ther ideas i guess i will give it a try

Go to amazon.com and buy a 12x12x1/16" ABS sheet, and go to HF and buy some cheap epoxy. Rough up the area around the back side of the crack, cut a patch out of the ABS an inch bigger all the way around your crack, rough up the ABS, slap the epoxy to it, and clamp it down. Use tin foil on the clamp`s bearing surfaces, or they`ll become a permanant part of your repair.

FRP fiber reenforced plastic resin , with fiber glass sheets behind it, sand it back and paint over it!!

Paint thin coats to avoid runs! Sand between coats with 600grit clear coat a couple of times sand with 1400 polish out and buff.
