32:1 Oil premix ratios

I was stuck on a long and dry teleconference and created an interactive excel spreadsheet to calculate how much oil is needed to add to gas to get to my desired 32:1 premix ratio. Because I am terrible at quick mental math at the gas pump (huffing to many fumes perhaps) I wanted a quick check to know how much to add based on X.XX gas. Unfortunately I can't add .xls or .xlsx files to the forum so you could play with the numbers yourself. Instead below is a text version. I printed off mine and will be keeping it with my oil measuring cup under the seat to use at the pump.

gas meter pump .250 1 oz oil

.500. 2oz oil

.750 3 oz oil

1 gallon 4 oz oil.

add oil in the gas tank. first vary on oz(s) . need to match gas meter pump.


this is the easy way to do it.!!!

go get a squirt bottle from the garden department on the weedwacker area.

oil in the tank will be mix by pour the gas in the fuel tank.

I use the android version called fuel/oil mix calculator it rocks. I used to use a calculator, then an excel calculator that I made in my pocket pc.
It is also easier to calculate here in Canada because everything is metric.
