howzit everybody! picked up an 85 Honda Aero and have no freakin clue what im doing. this is my first 2 stroke/Honda ever so i dont where to start. The bike runs like a champ, pipe makes plenty rattle noise when i gas um, but the motor runs cherry. the plastics have seen better days, a lot better. held together with missed matched screws, zipties and hot glue. i googled the Aero for a image of what it used to, or what it can look like. up came pics of Aeros that have been well taken care of. clicked on one that lead me here, to this site, owner is z50r-ghost! with his brand new plastics from Honda, i wanted the same thing for mine, brand spankin new panels. anybody know where i can purchase brand new plastics for my 85? i would appreciate the help.

Almost all Honda motorcycle dealers have a web site, but I would not hold my breath for new being available.

Flea-bay and Craigslist other than here on this site.

Also the motor is the AF05E. is that the original motor or from another bike. it has a 66cc kit in it and is wheelie champ.

AF05E is the original motor. A picture would be worth a thousand words.

So edit the picture smaller or use a real camera. Then again you could post the pic on Photo Bucket.

There is a size in bytes limitation for pics hosted at this site. Try posting pics at 256kbyte and below. Photos may need to be resized, or camera settings changed. 800x600 is a good size. Also camera settings for compression can be adjusted so pics memory size is smaller.

You can post process your pics too. I often just capture a screen shot, paste into MS Paint resize and save, but there are other programs to make a batch job.

Thanks dood I'll get some pics up ASAP. I'm currently painting my old panels to hide the scars it came with. The two side panels are pretty grim but the front and head set look way better. Still see some blemishes but looks 100% better than what it used to.

Repainting the head set again. My buddy put a car cover over my bike to keep it from getting wet and left indents of the material on the paint......crap.
