One day, I'll make it over to see for myself, looking forward to the pictures!
I think the weather where your are must be good, you look a lot younger these days :-)

My AE50 deserves some road time, but next year as it's almost winter in England. I have some weird problem where the engine will not rev quickly and sometimes will stop, but then starts again a couple of minutes later.

Haha...nice weather keeps you young. Just like nice women...

The rally I'm heading to is becoming a really big thing. Last year we got italians there! Guys come up there from all over in France and people say this is becoming THE rally of the year (a nice swap meet too).
It's on 27th of october this year :

Dates are updated on this link.

Here are some pictures of previous meetings

Forgot to mention that I changed the rear tire. Lasted 11870 km! That's not bad at all. Checked the belt and it's still good for service (measured the width). So keeping it inside for the moment. It's the original one. Bought one new though. A Honda OEM that I'm keeping just in case.

Byebye old tire :

No rust or what so ever

All original

Hard time putting the new tire on, it is much more rigid

I cleaned the drum brake and the brake shoes, sanded them a bit, greased (MSO2 lithium grease) the wheel axle and brake axes, had a look inside the exhaust pipe (no carbon build up) and inside the engine (endoscopic camera). Everything seems ok.
The plug and the suppressor (both NGK) where renewed too.
Air filter cleaned, tranny flushed.
Hey...it's new again!

Question :
Is this ramp plate an unrestricted one

It is meant for a UK market version.

I think the 'UK2' is on my ramp plate & I think the belt would ride all the way to the top of the variator. There are some pictures of my ramp plate on here somewhere.....

Went to my annual rally and TT ran perfectly. Everything is ok.

Found this vid' on drag scoot racing. Didn't know that existed!
The scoot develops 30 bhp + and 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds!
