drag bar headlamp options

Post by vette76 »

now that my sa-50 has started undergoing a serious engine build, i decided to upgrade the front suspension, and went with an ncy kit. i dont really like the sa-50 headlamp setup, and would like to see a drag bar setup to sway my final decision. this is street legal, so i would need a nice looking headlamp setup. i like the low cut look, and dont want an ugly set of lights to screw it up. so show me some pics! :peace:

sweet^
hey, how did you go about using the bmx steering stem? looks like the same way as a ruckus? there is enough material on top to use the shim kit huh? i ordered this stem
http://japan.webike.net/products/2053661.html

not sure if i can go that route with this stem.
and i wouldnt mind a dio headset if they werent so hard to find.. and extremely overpriced i might add.

I cut the 87 stem clamp section off the handle bar so that it sticks up above the panels enough to put the bmx clamp on.

Yup! Live dio zx . Its almost plug and play. The only thing you clearance is the leg shield. I used a heat gun and pushed the bubble out where the tree touches. If you get a honda g dash stem and triple you don't have to do anything. But getting one of those is much harder.
