Wow! gas mileage

Post by bushpigwillie »

So my FrankenSpree is a great commuter here I Kally! I have been getting about 90 mpg running no lights or battery. But at night when I run a 12 volt 50 watt light on the headlight circuit, the mpg drops to mid 70's. I know the drag on the generator will bite into the mpg but that seems like a lot.

Wow! That is one eye opening factoid. I'll have to consider putting some in-line switches onto the light circuit!

Will do! Care to explain why it should be done on the ground side?
