That aero only has 1300 miles on it :-D I just ran through a quarter tank of fuel in it. Works amazing. Still getting used to the variator though ;-) I keep expecting it to behave like the spree when I let off the throttle lol

Thanks, I'm real proud of it. I managed to burn a whole tank of gas with it today. Was cold going, it was -2 Celsius or 28f all day. I had my snow board outfit on.

Just a reminder Pat: There are a few items that should be inspected before you consider the bike "in service".
Especially the air filter.... :thumbwink:
I didn't go back re-read from the beginning, so this bike may have a recent service history...if so, please excuse... :urban:
Those items would also include anything that is deteriorated by time.
drive belt, gearbox oil, tires, valve stems, gaskets, you know the drill.
She's a looker, and that comment about the front fender on these "missing the mark" has no credibility, I must have been dreaming....you're in a new class of riding now...enjoy... :urban:

I went over it a bunch before heading out. It had been serviced by the dealer not long ago and has a history of getting serviced regularly. It has new tires with new tubes instead of going tub less, brand new sealed gel battery, the motor vehicle inspection is current, which means all the major stuff like brakes, tires, suspension are in order or it wouldn't pass, especially when the dealer did the inspection those guys are anal I still gave it all the once over. That scooter has probably seen more maintenance than its seen driving time. I'm still ordering new air filter and air box grommet for the carb ;-) and like you say change the gearbox oil, and I'm going to check the variator and belt next week after I get back from my away gig this weekend. She has a new belt for it and if she finds it she is going to give it to me. It was always stored inside too. That scoot is a great survivor specimen for sure. The rubber foot mat isn't even scuffed yet. Its getting treated to the boysen power reeds and 90 jet as soon as I can get them, the bottom end is wicked on that beast but just you wait till those reeds get put in... :-D Thank you bear for figuring those two things out to make those 85 aeros come alive. Done the swap on a friends 85 and its incredible. Gonna also order a cylinder head temp gauge just because no scoot should be with out one stock or no.
