Re: Cargo Racks, Grab Bars
A trial bag - bit larger than what I want. It does fit ms mouse's laptop, and leave room much more, so we'll see what she thinks too.
The front of the bag unzips the large compartment for the laptop.
The rear unzips to expose a smaller section with phone pocket, zippered pocket and 5 slot pockets for misc items.
I like that it only partially opens so it cannot drop the laptop onto the fender.

Re: Cargo Racks, Grab Bars
I see the Mrs.'s Gyro is without rear cover.
Is this by design ?
As for my gf's '84 Gyro, I have the cover on it currently,
but in the past it has twice overheated and created the
plastic to deform at the vents above the muffler.
I THINK what happened was oil residue catching fire inside the muffler.
After the first time, which happened on the first ride upon purchase,
I thought the danger was over and all the oil had burned off.
Then, it happened again. Never happened during the interim, being run
with the cover off, so I put it back on. Of course, that's the mistake I made, thinking it was all burned off.

Re: Cargo Racks, Grab Bars
Hi Motormike,
I looked over the NN50 rear, and remembered why the plastic is off. It was to show a member how the bystarter wires are routed over the air filter box. The wires are still pulled away from their hold downs.
There's one cover we have that has a melted spot too. It came that way so I don't know what the issue was, it's about 1/8" droop.

Re: Cargo Racks, Grab Bars
Chevyguy's pics seem to be lost (photo hosting issues), but I had a few of his TG50 flatbed and trailer. Great project!
