I just picked up a pair of Sprees from my next door neighbor:
The white one is an '84 and the black an '86. I paid $300 for both, the black one running and the white hadn't run in a year. With the help of this forum's tutorials and links, I got both running in just a few hours and at minimal cost, although still needing some deep cleaning, refining and a few parts.
I'm sure like many new owners, I initially had thoughts of mods, hop-ups, chops, etc, but I think my focus will be on getting these running in top stock shape. Just wanted to thank you folks for the fine job you've done with the forum. All the information was very helpful.
