:werd: its called "vaccuming" and happens when you suck in too much air past 1/2 throttle. airfilter should fix it, make sure airbox is nicely secured too. i have a few of the pins missing, so i just used duct tape to cover the openings. good luck!
projects galore :nerd:

got the filter, installed it, and the throttle still screwy. it starts, idles just fine. when i get on to ride, and turn the throttle back slightly it will move, then when i try and give it full throttle it will accelerate and when it reaches the top of the power band so to speak, it wont accelerate at all. the engine just cuts out. but if i go back to just applying rotation to the throttle, it will accelerate again.
any ideas?

You need to refer to the carb cleaning section. I've been over this a hundred times....you have to know the difference between running rich and running lean.

It sounds like you're running RICH.

Scope out the details, you'll see what I mean.
