Hi forum.
anyone know if Chinese disc brake and stem will fit 95 elite sa50?
Local Junkyard has a few Chinese scooters just wondering if any of them will work?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Maybe the black one with the single piston caliper? It would be nice to have disc brakes, but these may be junk?
Maybe the Vespa motor for a swap?

The (last one) red brakes look a lot like my dd50 brakes,

The vespa is a lx50, slowest 4t in the group.

Nice scooter junk yard! The front end set up will work if you use the stock elite stem and mate it to the gy6 forks. I did it to mines. I just upgraded the forks, caliper and rotor with an eBay special.

I also mated up a Chinese disc from end. Just modded my fork tube slightly and used the bearing race off of the Chinese scoot. Works perfect!

Thanks, good to know.
I wanted to find out if it was worth the trouble of cutting and welding the forks.
Or just order a front disc kit?
Most of the forks tubes that I see are either too low or too tall.

Measure the fork width before you buy one. Otherwise you might get an odd ball size and no available upgrades for shock replacement. I also try to get my disc brakes on the left side like they should be. Some china bikes are right side.
G9 made a kymco zx 50 to a spree adaptation with using the sprees race and stem with zx50 legs for a clean and easy install. My spree has 12 inch rims and tires which rocks.

Vast majority of them are copies and work fine, but there's always a chance of getting a "one" off style.

I have no problems stoping my Honda's from 70- to 100 plus mph, it must be a rider thing!

Yeah the problem is the rider claiming they're doing 70-100 and stopping with stock brakes is a liar.
What a wonderful piece of work maddog is.

WOW! 100+mph. that's FAST!
My old piaggio 500cc would go 100mph. but I only need to stop from 65mph.
