I might seriously have a honda addiction problem

Post by yamahauler660r »

Yeah you guessed it...I picked up another one after work today. 86 spree special edition. Engine is full of motor oil. 10w -30 :bowrofl: turned it over by hand and oil gushed out of the carb. I just can't pass up a deal.
One of these days I'll put the plastics on everything and get some better pictures of my collection (not all dusted out in the corner of the barn)
All my scoots except a sb50, se50, and a couple sprees are 99% complete and running. I have 10 of them registered and I even transferred my elite S to a motorcycle plate and put insurance on it (I took my motorcycle endorcement test with it) I intend to do a reliable 55mph build on it this winter. ok, til the next one, :peace:

Well, here I am again... $45 and kind of on my way home. Plastics were in excellent condition until someone painted them. :bs:
Do I need a moderator to change my user name? Is it even a possibility? I don't want to start a new account l, but I do need a name with HONDA in there.

I have a problem to. I am a scooter addict. I feel better now.

I hate when they paint the plastics but I really hate when they paint the trim, leg guard, and floor board. grrrr

At least we know we have problems!! And yes, my blood boils when I come across painted plastics (even though they bought the machine and it's theirs to do as they wish, it should be illegal)

I had to pay a little more than $90 for the special. There was an unintentional middle man involved.

I have 4 Yamaha raptors (mine, my wife's, and one for each kid), and a sled. My first bike was a yz80. I started my first paper route when I was 12. My dad bought me a $50 maligutti, then I got my first spree because the newspaper bundles were easier to stack on the floor board. Then I bought a brand new razz with Christmas tip money from my 2 routes. Then when I got my first car and a real job I sold my razz. Then I didn't touch a moped for 10+ years.
A friend I grew up with got a spree to ride around town. He talked me into getting a cheap spree off craigslist and it rekindled my childhood memories. I have sold/traded 10-15 of them since then. I sold a 87 spree in excellent condition for a a fair price. I watched him lay it on its side and shove it into his Griffin pest control truck, cracking both turn signals and he could care less. I've only got rid of a few mopeds since then. One spree I traded for my trail 70 4speed (second owner) and a puch maxi. That one I had no problem letting go!!
I've had 4 times more Hondas than yamahas, but I was riding michigan trails or silver lake sand dunes every weekend for a 3-4 year run.
My blood is blue but I bleed red!!

I'm too deep into it now. There's no hope. You guys haven't even seen my parts collection....

I now have four ch80's and two Derbi's in my garage...
I just wish all of them were running, but I guess one runner is better than none.
