Not AF16... Should be afo5e..

First year for AF16 was 1994.. 1994-2001.

Don't forget that in 1988 and 1989 the tiny, Spree-ish SB50 Elite "E" was sold alongside the SA50. The former was non-variated AF50, albeit with better intake port and exhaust. The latter had the variated Aero descendant AF05.
