whats better high compression or low compression? and whats the best compression to be at?

Yes I had a 54mm LC bore at 170psi burn at hole in less than 2miles not even in the motors powerband... I agree with G9 130to150 psi is my happy place for psi.. You'll notice a loss in power at 120 an lower..

That is how to tune hi compression on the carb pwk 28mm get action.

My jog has 164 psi. Both metal gaskets. Running stock carb 14mm. With 92 gas.

My polini crank w/ polinI bearings has over 12,000 miles and still tight and solid. :mrgreen:
Let the motor do the talking.


Low compression is paper gasket.
Hi compression. Metal base gasket.

The cylinder head shape vary on compression and piston using rear big window or but as piston.
