Do the elite and met share the same size belt? Does anyone know? I'm trying to see if I can run a ZX pulley on a met.

You probably could. This is just from memory.....

I think the metro belt ('03-'11?) is close @ 660x18x28.

'94-'01 elite belt @ 654x15.4x30

I would ask Wheelman-111 to be sure about it.

I kinda thought the metro was sorta zx equipped already?

Greetings:

Bones' Met belt spec is accurate. ZX belts work with 654 and 669mm lengths. The 28 to 30 degree angle difference may be considered, but I have run all 3 and all seem to work fine. 669 takes off better but may limit top speed.

yes I have a kymco zx50 rear pulley on a 2009 metropolitan
it will need a small spacer the zx pulley fits further in and the metro clutch bell wont work

met top
elite bottom
different length by splined area ( reason for spacer )

great info, does the small spacer that comes with the ZX pulley kit work or do you need to make your own?

you will need to make a spacer

or change the input shaft for a af16 elite one
than no spacer needed

or change other gears from the elite to met
and you can use any elite gears in your get motor
