Scorpion pipe weld blew at 60mph

Ouch, better there than mid pipe tbh though. Midpipe would of covered your right leg in oil probably. Glad your safe.

you may have a wrong pipe displacement cc . that why blow up..

possible wrong metal thickness, welder problem buy cheap welder, wrong rod tig..

Looks like the pipe might have been in a bind from the position it is in now that is if it is still bolted to the motor in that picture.
