I see a few different options out there. Can anyone confirm a model or size that will fit?

Thanks

Where about do you live? Someone on here just might live across the street from you...or across town. Never know! I have a spare Spree shock if youre interested. Can ship.

I am in North Atlanta, 30127. If the rear shock is in good shape, I am interested. Buying a used one online is tough since it could be in the same shape as mine considering their almost 30 years old.

I was really hoping someone knows of a compatible shock I could go out a grab. Thanks for the response and assistance.

What exactly is the problem youre trying to fix? Is your shock broken? bent? Spring too squatty? What? Youre looking for a stock shock for a Spree? They are a dime-a-dozen all over Ebay.

Sure, theres high performance shocks that you can get but those start around $200. It'd be like putting a $25,000 NASCAR suspension system on your Geo Metro. Overkill and useless.

They rarely fail. Ive seen one that the spring had lost some of its compression and the overall travel was reduced. Probably due to an overweight rider over a long period of time. Have also seen a few that were bent from a crash. Otherwise they are just as solid as they were 30yrs ago and if yours is functioning properly Id suggest sticking with it. Replacing it just because of its age seems a bit unnecessary because as you know....the whole bike is 30yrs old too!

Yours has got that springy, bouncy non dampening feeling? So does mine... I think it adds to the character of riding a small scoot the same age as me!

I don't think the rear springs on our scoots have dampening capabilities. You can get em, but they ain't cheap. You can find some on ebay for not crazy money. There's one on Ebay I'm looking at that's 12.5" and air adjustable. Says it's 2000kgf tho n it might be too much pressure.
