i took a long trip across town and it ran perfect. next time no go. figured out it was the spark, bought a new coil and plug. cranked up like new. i let it wa rm up for few minutes then went to ride out. it died but cranked right back up. died again and this time nothing. no spark once again. trying to avoid rewiring and troubleshooting the entire electric circuits if possible. what would make it run perfect twice the n loose all spark. thanks

I would suggest not changing any parts unless they were confirmed bad. I’ve had a few cdi units go bad but never a coil. Your issue could be as simple as a spark plug cap gone bad or if that’s not the problem then try a known working cdi to swap as a test. Put your old coil back in unless you know it was bad.
