Elite CH80

I have a chance to get a 2001 elite CH80 that has 6000 miles on it for $900. Supposedly in pretty nice shape. Is this a decent deal? How much mileage can an 80 get on it before things start to go downhill?

If it is in good shape, that is a pretty sweet deal. I have a 1985 Elite 80 with 2400 miles. Anyway, these are 4 stroke and you will see at least a good 12-14K miles before I would think you need any sort of engine work done. Just make sure it was taken care of, oil changed regularly etc and make sure you do the same. These are fun. They run about 43 or so on flat ground and down a hill mine has gotten to 57. Hope this helps!

i had my 14k mile 85 ch80 sold for 600.00, but i backed out.. lol
