Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I am looking to swap the engine in my 1985 nq50 spree and was wondering if the 86 HONDA ELITE 150 ENGINE will work? If so how much work am I looking at to make it happen?

I can only imagine this being like swapping a big block V8 into a Volkswagen but I’m sure it’s possible

Lot of work...and don't forget to upgrade the brakes.
The 150cc engine is capable of 65 mph on it's own heavy chassis.
The Spree will be faster,... and far more deadly.
There is a radiator to account for...and two shock mounts.
There is a thread here that details a swap of an Aero 125 engine into Spree.
