The place to discuss rides, accessories, or whatever is tangentially Spree/Elite-related

not unless it's overheating, I had that once, would go about a mile and just die, then I would wait like 5-10 minutes and it would run fine again. Found out I had to get the cooler running sparkplug.

But anyway, you should be fine.

You have to go full throttle at all times, it's a Spree for gawd's sake.

Liquid cooled and a temp guage and its full throttle time! all the time!
Can't afford speed then stay away from it!

I end up running at full throttle frequently to make the thing go fast enough to keep up with traffic. I'm considering switching to a BPR7 since they say an 8 works best for 'extended high speed riding'. I would do the 8 but a colder plug typically makes starting more difficult.

each model # is a temperature step

BPR4 Hotter (recommended cold climate)
BPR5 Hot
BPR6 Warm (recommended for normal use)
BPR7 Cold
BPR8 Colder (recommended for high speed riding)
86 Spree (w/neon)

Don't run at full throttle, your Spree will blow up killing everyone within a quarter mile.

I don't have any problem starting my scoot with the 8, even in the winter, unless of course it's been sitting for a while (around a week or so).
