Spree Low compression ?

Hello! I’m a new member. I purchased an 87 spree for my girl and it won’t start.
I have a clean good spark. The carb is clean. The reed valve seems good. Compression clocks at about 110 psi (is this enough for an 87 spree 50cc motor???). I put a new battery in it. Exhaust is clear. I seem to have air, fuel, and spark, and I can’t figure out why it won’t run.
I’m considering and engine rebuild kit, but I don’t want a crap Chinese one because I hear that they crack and fail often.
Please help! If you have any idea where to get parts for the engine, or have experienced this with your scooter, I would appreciate any advice and info you could provide.
