Help finding solution - Elite 50 Carb Insulator
I am helping out a neighbor by getting an Elite 50 up and running for her. While cleaning out the carb, i found that the carb insulator (16211-GAM-000) is broken, and no longer available from Honda. Any idea on what can be done to replace it other than pulling out my calipers and CAD-ing out a new one to get printed somewhere in a hard plastic? Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.

Did you notice that the part you referenced it out of stock? As I said, the part is no longer available from Honda (discontinued), and everyone I found who is reselling OEM parts (like Revzilla) is out of stock. I did my fair share of homework on Google before I posted this, and the OEM part does not seem to exist anywhere, which is why I made the post asking if anyone had ideas on a replacement part.Wheelman-111 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 4:21 pm Greetings:

Re: Help finding solution - Elite 50 Carb Insulator
What year elite?
SE50 type one looks very similar, would need to cross ref and check. but if so, ebay options:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/384403504434?h ... Sw7PxhR-Cf
https://www.ebay.com/itm/383441055949?f ... SwlPFeTYzA
*, there's a good chance I have some spares laying around, if those don't work out. let me know.
In a pinch, you can absolutely 3D print that part. As long as material used is fuel safe, wouldn't be a problem. Alternatively, I would find the thickest gasket stock available and just cut out the shape needed. Would work equally fine.
cheers

I picked one of those up off ebay to see if that does the trick! Thanks!burnt_toast wrote: ↑Tue Sep 21, 2021 10:30 am What year elite?
