Can you elaborate on this? What exactly is it doing. Are you bypassing the auto bystarter somehow? Very curious

So is the syringe and extra fuel line to send extra fuel for gard starts or to pull vacuum on the petcock to get fuel flowing to the carb on hard starts?

Strictly occasional cold start when ambient temp is below 72° for any period of time, otherwise not used . . . line goes to previous oil injection port on manifold
I don't run any choke at all in summer

Interesting, so you’re running premix and bypassing that oil injection completely?

Couldn’t a ‘T’ be added to the vacuum line and have additional hose in same way. Then use syringe to pull a vacuum to open the petcock sooner before battery dies? I tried this with a bulb primer and no luck, the syringe though might do it.

Premix . . . and vacuum isn't the issue when cold, getting a couple drops of fuel in the intake manifold is all it takes . . . battery will never die because if it doesn't fire on 2-3 revs it's not going to . . . all of this is for occasional use only, not a regular occurrence
