Anyone know what oil to use in a 84' Gyro?

im assuming plain old 30 weight motor oil
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Yes - from the Gyro service manual - 10w-30 or 10w-40 depending upon temperature. But do be careful about what oil is placed into your transmission. Do a search on 'wet clutch oil' and you will not want take a chance on automobile engine oil. I got mine at the motorcycle shop, labeled as ok for wet clutches. Was expensive at about $6 per quart but the Gyro is only about 7oz per fill.
