im not sure. i dont have hardy any traffic lights by were i live. only if i ride up into bigger towns. but theres cars every were in town so i dont have to worry about it

Next time you're in front at a stop light, look down. If you see some lines cut into the pavement about the width of a pencil, usually running in a rectagle shape right behind the white stop line, that's a signal this will work on. It's pretty obvious once you see one. You've probably seen them before. They cut a groove, lay in wire, then fill the groove above the wire with some rubbery goo.
I'll check my roads out tomorrow, there aren't many stop lights until you get into town, and my Spree runs so poorly, when I go out on the main drag I take the sidewalk
