Just got my spree yesterday!

The place to discuss rides, accessories, or whatever is tangentially Spree/Elite-related

Nope, the kill on the handlebars only toggles power to the coil and the coil only is allowed power when the engine is running. The keys turn everything on and off, you might want to check for drain on your system. Do you own a multimeter? I can walk you through how to check for drain if you dont know.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

no. I don't have a meter... but I'm going to get one. But first I know that my batt needs some water. it's a little low. so I'm going to fix that first and see if it hold a charge
