HAHAHHA MY ELITE BLEW HAHA

Post by MySpree »

welp, iv been waiting for it to happen, and it finnaly has. i blew a crank bering, which made my crank seal leak, which caused my piston to slap, which tor into my cylander, which made it backfire and blow out my reed valves, which killed my intake which made me laugh. normaly i would be upset, but, that was just so funny, i dont even care. looks like a liquid cooled stroker may sound GRAND right now...

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

yeah, I was stupid and let a friend on it. He decided at 25mph (on gravel mind you) that he was going to hit the front brake. He busted the * out of the side of the headset.
I took it all off to fix it. But i lost my job at the body shop i was at, so i have not got around to buying the stuff and fixing it. The speedometer didn't work on that bike anyway. So i took all the wiring out of the top of it and tucked it in the front. That way the tail light still works.

I got to say, It makes it feel faster/funner. I really don't know why, but it is. I have my 96 that is going to be nice. and stock looking. My 92 is... well... i don't know...
A bike to ride hard. And have some extreme riding.

i believe the reeds gave out.

i can kick it like 500 times and not a single sign of starting. It feels like it has compression. i know it has spark. When i have it tore down im going to take off the head and try'an'see if the cylinder gave out.

Last time all these things happen to me it was the reeds. If that is all i can make me some redneck ones to last me till i get a job. Last time they gave out i made a set out of a pop can. Only lasted like 50 miles but it worked.

i dont know rather to laugh or cry.

Looked at the reeds, they were fine. I took off the head, looked in the cylinder, Noticed a little grove. Took off the cylinder....

one of the pistons clips fell out and tore up piston/cylinder. The * of it is i cant seem to find that little *. But yeah. cylinder/piston is trashed. So now, i got to get my 96 all together. And all broke in. And tuned. God this sucks...

Maybe the little * got shot out the exhaust? Is it just my imagination or do you have bad luck?
