87 se50 front turn signals

Post by dukemartini »

my 87 elite has the front turn signals attached to the "glove box" about knee height. since someone was kind enough to break one off before i got it and i t looks like the whole glove box assembly got f*cked up in the process, i was wondering if i could just change out the handle bar cover for one that has the headlight and the two turnsignals built in? the one on there looks more like the spree headlight only set up, but my 88 elite had the headlight with the turn signals right next to it.

has anyone tried this? i don't know if the switches on the handlebar would interfere with the turn signals or what, or if i would need a new handle bar set up as well.
