What to put on rear rack.

What sort of cases, lockboxes, et cetera can anyone recommend that will fit on the rear rack of the Spree and not look too stupid? I am looking for something on the smaller side that can close to keep documents, papers, manuals in, nothing like a milk crate or basket. I've seen saddlebags on some of your scoots...any ideas?

I had thought about them but those seem really bulky and awkward...I guess I'm looking for something with not a lot of height.

Couple rubber straps and a zip up binder?

Heh, that would definitely get the job done. Maybe I'll look in an office supply store for a small rectangular lock box. I find the trunks look too insectoid and unbalanced and silly, and milk crates just won't cut it. I like the baskets but they aren't ideal for storing what I need. I'll probably need to be inventive on this one.

Yeah, I've got a 2001 Elite and wondered what the heck to put on the chrome rack?

Are there any official accessories besides the big ol' black box?

I've seen a guy put some motorcycle saddle bags on a scooter. it didn't look half that bad. Then you wouldn't have a bulky top case.

If you want it cheap, and recycled

Laptop case
VHS camcorder bag
Old 35mm camera & lens bag - the kind that would hold telephotos and more
Diaper bag (no one would even look inside that one :D )
Small sports bag

Take the bag of your choice, cut some 1/4" or so plywood to drop into the bottom of the bag, put some T-Nuts in, staple some nylon over it, drop it into the bag and bolt from bottom though metal straps

What did you use to secure it? I am using zipties right now but I only got some small ones. One already snapped.
