Well older guy down street had a Moped. So checked it out. Was a Honda Spree. 1986 to be on the dot.

He said thing was in storage for 14years before he bought it. Then he only used it when went camping with his RV. Thing has total of 575 Miles on it.

I picked it up for $650. Its like brand new. Real fun to ride.

Was wondering though. How do i go about unrestricte the motor? Or how do i tell if its already been done? To make it go a little faster?

Ill be doing the muffler thing drilling the holes(what size drill bit?)

Some Goodie pics for you all.

While the basket is a nice touch since it's a Honda one, I'm not sure how I feel about it. *lol* Then again I doubt I'd remove it if mine had come with one since it is made by Honda.

pretty slick. you can find articles about everything you would want to do to this bike, but as for the muffler: use the longest bit you have and drill 2 baffles(plates in the muffler). i dont think theres much derestricting you can do, save grinding out the intake, which im betting hasnt been done.

Yea i took the pics right after i bought it lol. Not sure if it'll stay or go have to see the basket that is.

So really there is no governor to unrestricte or something of that sort? I know on other types they have such things not sure if can on this or what?

If you wanna sell the basket, I might be interested depending on the price. Yeah, I have mixed feelings about the basket but I bet I'd get good use out of one. *lol*

They do. They only have them listed for the Elite 80, but it's the same basket they've sold since 1984. They're one size fits all.

To the OP: Sweet ride! A tad on the expensive side, but that really just has more to do with location than anything. It took me alot of work to get my 85 to look almost as good as yours!

I added a simple (and very free) plastic milk crate to my Spree the day I got it. It holds my rain cover, for one thing. Easily carries groceries. I take packages to the PO in it. It's great!

I purchased one of those spider net bungy things at Walmart to put over the top so things don't go flying out when I ride.

The yellow crate matches my bright yellow helmet so the little old ladies can see me from over the top of their dash board.

Gets plenty of looks, anyway.
