Cup holder for Spree

Post by Shootin_Spree »

I just returned from Walmart and installed my cup holder on my Spree. The cup holder is a Product Detail - ID 05561-1 from Bell. The web page is www.bellautomotive.com/asp/product_details.asp?id=23750. I paid less than two dollars and it works great. All I did was take the bolt that is in the middle of the windscreen out, drill a hole on the cup holder and reinsert the bolt. I will take a picture tomorrow if anyone want to see it.

If you want to see my cup holder for my 85 Spree go to these web pages.
http://www.solisearch.net/ims/pic.php?u ... 4&i=136104

On the 85 you need to put a piece of metal under the holder to keep it from leaning down.

I used the RF shield off a computer. The RF sheild is the piece you take out when you put a new board in the slot of a computer. I pounded it flat drilled a hole in it and bent it to shape.

On the 87 the "glove box" keeps it up right.
