scoot stand is ruining my right shoe: show me your mods

My stand is ruining my right shoe sole.
I have put a small piece of rubber over the stand but that did not last long as it wore out in about a week.

Any tips? Any mods? I'm thinking of somehow making a free spinning flat piece and weld it to the stand but I don't have a welder...

Sorry, couldn't help it. I haven't noticed any damage to my shoes, but I've been wearing my NB's, not the Bruno Magli's.
What kind of wear are you experiencing?

I need to get some boots but for the time being I'm riding in my work shoes and the sole gets ruined about an inch below where the toes end.
I started a new technique where now I put the stand up against the heel and the forward side of the shoe (this txt probly doe snot make sense, LOL).

I just stand on the bar with the middle of my foot, then pull the scoot back with my hands and it just goes up.

its what i do, or if you are feeling manly put your foot on the stand and just grab the rear rack and pick it up.

wow.. with a bike as light as an elite it takes almost no effort to get it up, hard to believe just lifting it can damage your shoe. i also vote for new shoes lol
