Need help with a 1965 honda cub 50

Post by mmaannyy »

:(
My buddy has a 1965 Honda cub 50. It runs but has a fuel leak from the top of the carb. Ignition key is also lost. I blew a fuse when jump starting, now I think it may be a 6 volt system. Need access to a service manual. Also where can i get parts ... maybe ignition switch if locksmith can't help, and a carb kit?

I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Can't find any parts there

Can't find any parts there, they don't list the bike.

12v battery will short out the electrical 6v.

I do love to get a cub. :P
