Nothing funny about it, thats not really that bad. i think the $1800 kick start spring was better.

$1000 for a spree?!?!?! really? it doesn't even have a title.... :( I guess if someone is really into spending that kind of cash....

If it truly is cherry and whatnot. To the right buyer that's no big deal. Get some guy that makes 100000 grand a year that had a spree back in 1984 and a grand aint no thing. * I paid 850 for my mint condition 87 spree 8 years ago. It was cheap and only 10 miles from my house in madison.

geez, guess I didn't figure these things would fetch more than a few hundred bucks. My wife has an 87 "robins egg blue" spree that actually is mint, wonder what someone would pay for that?

its worth whatever a ready willing and able buyer pays. lol

yeah its weird. I'd say if its mint you could fetch 700-800, if its good condition 500-550. If it runs buts ugly, 300-400.

Some people try asking WAY too much. Like a broken plastic, scratched to heck, needs battery, leaks oil and gets 35mpg scooter with broken hanging turn signals isn't worth 500. But people are crazy.

I agree, I wouldn't pay more than a few hundred bucks for a mint Spree. But other people are not me.

lol, wait it doesn't run? LOL

I guess I missed that part. Read it on my blackberry at work. Yeah i wouldn't spend that kinda cash.

And when I spent $850 on my first spree 8 years ago, I was quite a noob, didn't know what they were worth AT ALL, and i didn't have the means to travel a long distance to pick one up for a better price.
