From what I've read in the local papers, the new law that went in effect August 1st is as follows. A person can legally operate a scooter (50cc or under, no larger then 10 inch wheels) at 12 years of age. You no longer need registration, license plates, drivers license, or tags.
Has anyone actually confirmed this with MDOT?
