Flat roller weights

Post by Aero Fifty »

I checked my rolller weights for the first time yesterday and they are flat as *. Some are almost worn to the center metal part. So it looks like I'll be needing a new set asap. Any idea of the stock roller weight for an aero?

Also anyone ever try Dr. Pulley sliding roller weights? I found them while searching for replacement weights online. Supposed to last longer and perform better than regular round rollers.

Rollers already made into sliders sounds like a great idea to me. That way wear doesn't effect performance as much.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

the sliders are OKAY, rollers are king for best shifting

measure your stockers, then get some that are 0.5-1g lighter, install

enjoy the performance
projects galore :nerd:

how is he going to measure or weigh his stock ones if they're flat? The weight wouldn't be the same as a new one would be

Well I don't have currently have a scale than can measure grams but I did find a list of stock roller weights: http://www.beedspeed.com/html-pages/var ... -chart.htm

Now what is the aero 50 called in europe? The vision, vision met-in, or lead 50?

I've seen Dr. Pulleys for GY6 and bigger. I have yet to find any for 13x16 SE05/SA16 varios. Anyone prove different?

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.
