How did you go about wiring your oil pump full open?

jus zip tie it wide open,

burnt, be careful about using 7.1 gears in a stock motor. they do over heat and seize if you are riding up hill and stuff.
just be aware.

Then its too lean and/or not getting enough oil.

he's talking about the trans overheating dude, not the motor

but I don't really see that happening, overall rpms are much lower now trans side especially

just fined tuned cvt today and i'm very contempt, she's a purrfect cruiser

Now that's one sexy scoot!

Care to enlighten us to current variator weight setup?

Not the trans
I have seen only 1 trans over heat, no oil in it.

I used have small heat seizes almost every time someone rode that bike after a night or riding. It lasted about a month like that. Once the gears were swapped back and new bore installed it was fine.
The stock motor just has a hard time spinning the gears, causing it to over heat.

gotcha, i will keep an eye on it and check plugs

seemed to do well last night on a test n cruise

thanks wiguy. currently 7g net rollers (8g+6g) is ideal for launch, mid throttle and WOT

this is with 1.5k center spring and 2k jog grab springs

bore all stock 50cc, so far 52mph all out with downhill help might gps today to verify

Thats excellent to hear. I have a set of 8g and 7g rollers on order as we speak.

On a side note, and slightly OT, the other day when I had my exhaust off and was checking plugs, I noticed the stock setup doesn't bring the piston down below the exhaust port? I'd say it was still 1/8" above the bottom of the exhaust side. Any reason why Honda would do this?
Maybe better MPG?
Lower engine heat?
Better emissions?

And would it be worth it to shim up the base/cut the head to match?

8/9 grams, 11:1 gearbox, keli pulley/ramp plate .

stock 50cc bore , untouch block, stock carb /intake/airbox compete zx trans , japan dio pipe.
little over 60mph.

Greetings:

Wow! 60 with 11:1 gearing? It seems counter-intuitive that the longer-stroked AF16 should outrev the SE05 by that much. What's your RPM at that speed? Temps?

maybe with 9 to1 gears, stock gears are 12 to 1 why waste your time on 11 to 1
