Project: Spree Bag Hook

Post by GIJoeBob »

One thing I have always liked about the Honda Met scooters was the little bag hook on the inside of the leg shield. It is so practical and such a great idea. I wanted one for my Spree.

I cruised the aisles of the local hardware store and this is what I came up with.

I think it turned out great and it is very strong so it should hold a lot of groceries, etc.

Total cost is less than $4.

Hey,

Thats a good idea. I wouldnt mind mounting a cup holder to that location for those long Spree trips.

hahahahahahahahahahaha. fantastic. I was expecting a long drawn out process of cutting plastic, welding to the frame, several design options, attempting to patch up the plastic. Instead, the easiest, most useful spree mod.

Only one question: was this mod bolt on?

GREAT! We've been hanging the Walmart Canvas bags on the handlebars but two gallons of milk upset the steering. Is this mod patented?

Did you have to use a longer bolt or is the original bolt long enough?
