Your are lucky ... in Quebec ( here ) the scooter Antique need to have 25 years old and more and the price is 85$ each year ... for scooter under 25 years is 187$/each year !

no way that rocks. I'm going to check the BMV website posthaste to see if I can get antique plates.

also depending on your state there's ANOTHER option.
To use original year of manufacture plates, and insure it as a classic/antique. When you do the above you have the opportunity to wave MUCH of the state and federal BS fees that are built into many policies . I dont have to pay plate fees every year either.

granted this is a motorcycle and not a scooter but im saving mad money dong it this way.

i looked into it but i can find anything on the website... and god knows I don't want to call those people. Ugh... I guess I'll try once I work up the balls to give them a call.

In fl it's 30 years. If this thing is still running in 13 years i'll gladly apply.
