So we decided to DO A DIO SWAP DUDE!
Image
The first thing to go was the oil tank. The elite S donor scoot had the oil pump disabled.(waiting on a oil pump plug)

Here are some pictures of the two Elite engines side by side.

We measured the stock Elite E Mount. Then marked it on the Elite S mount.

We also had to cut the Top off the Elite S mount. (It did not fit)

Also the shock needed to be longer, so I welded on an extention.(until I can get a longer shock)

And That is pretty much it. All the wiring was simple, and it was all color coded.

This is what it looks like now. First test run it went GREAT !!! IT PULLED HARD all the way to it's top speed of 39.9 mph on GPS!

nice work but that shock angle is way to angled. Like i tell people if honda did a certain angle then it must be correct LOL. Like that the shock will flex in the center and wont be working in the correct direction.
easy fix, relocate shock mount!

Yeah go for it.

On my conversion, I wanted to rake out the front wheel. I thought it would be important given the increase in speed.

To do that I tipped my engine more vertical. The motor is lower at the front. I was able to use the stock shock absorber without an extension adapter and kept the air filter and rear wheel under the stock plastic. I had to make an extra tight radius on the head pipe.
Tru... a one day build wow.
