Got the forks in today.
Image
Then, I painted the rear rack & gas tank with the undercoating spray.
Image
Painted the rims with Rustoleum high gloss protective enamel. The 2 coats of clear.
Image
Then I decided to pull the cylinder and check things out.

Going to probably replace the rings and clean up the cylinder. Maybe, I'll just get the CR-80 piston and bore out the cylinder to fit. Going to see if I can find a cheap piston kit.
Going to run to Napa tomorrow and get the some conduit and recover the wiring harness.

I want to see your bike make smoke!.....We all have our own approach. Mine is to make it run, ei. get the motor mount and engine wiring sorted. Make the motor run. Dandy lights and decals are not important if all it is going to do is sit in the shop.

Been working on the wiring tonight. Only 1 wire dose not have a place to plug into. Green with a black stripe in it.
Then I cant seem to find the connector for the side controls with teh turn signal switch and horn.

Then here is my question for the day:
On the stock gauge cluster, there are the plugs for the 2 black wires that connect to the brake levers. Do I need them connected? I was planning on running no gauge cluster. I was thinking maybe a little storage compartment or something.

Thanks in advance!

Got 95% of the wiring done tonight. Just need need to do some final hook-ups.

Then all I got to do is:
put a new bulb in head light (will go into that deeper)
repaint front farring
put top end back on
then get all the title stuff taken care off.
I want it done before end of the month, so I can enter it in a scooter build contest thing.

I now see where you mounted the amp...Where did you mount the speakers? How does it sound?
I'd rather be riding my Aero!
