I did see yours, looks awesome. I only cut about 1-3/4 off the main springs, so it is lower than stock, I guess "slammed" isnt quite accurate. I'll be sure to choose my words more carefully from now on. Those grips used to be pretty easy to find, and pretty cheap. I think J.C. Whitney has them. Dig the screen name btw.

Removing suspension travel on a scooter or any two wheeled vehicle, especially in the front can be very dangerous and more so at speed. When the suspension bottoms out strange things can happen with the steering, more so if you are in a turn.

Got it running today! Rode around for about 40 mins., runs great! Front wheel appears to be warped, will switch with the non warped one on the '85 tmarrow. I'm already hooked on it. I forgot just how much fun these things are. :love:
